Hey Product Hunters! 🖐️ I'm Dee, Head of AI & Robotics at Autonomous. We're excited to launch Harness on Product Hunt today and show you what we built. We run a lot of coding agents. Claude Code at work, Codex at home, Hermes in the cloud. One thing bothered us: every agent sits in its own window on its own machine, stops to ask something, and just waits. We decided to change this. What if all of them lived in one command center? 🖥️ Every agent, every machine, side by side in a native app for Mac and Linux 🌿 Each agent on its own branch. Close the app and your agents keep working 🔒 End-to-end encrypted. Free and open source 🧠 Works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Pi, Hermes and more 📱 Answer your agents on the go with the Harness app, available now on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Talk instead of typing. 🎁 Exclusive to the Product Hunt community: 20% off Harness devices, the always-on display by your keyboard, for one week only with code PRODUCTHUNT. We'd love to hear your honest feedback. What's your setup? It will help us improve and build more for everyone. 🙌 🙌 🙌

I'm a CS student and I bounce between a couple of coding agents depending on the task, so one place to see all of them side by side sounds really useful....

Congrats, team! 🙌🏻 How does the end-to-end encryption work when agents are running across different machines? Is all communication encrypted by default?

Congrats to the Autonomous team on open-sourcing Harness. The coding-agent panes are clear; the CAD, circuits, and robots harnesses with a live viewer are the part I am still mapping. For something like MuJoCo or CircuitJS, what does a blocked "needs human" look like compared to a coding agent asking to push, and can you clear those from the phone the same way?

Nice that Harness gives every coding agent and machine one command center, so I can run Claude Code and Cursor side by side without juggling terminals.

this looks pretty interesting! I have a question pls, does it work good with agents running on remote devices?

Agents carrying on after the desktop app closes is a useful detail. I'd want to check in from the phone without worrying about keeping a window open on another machine.

the agents asking something and just sitting there is the real pain, i lose more time to that than to bad code. how do you handle priority when 3 agents on diff machines all block at once? and is there a way to mark some actions as needs a human no matter what, like pushing to main or touching prod config

I was confused at first but I extracted this "onboarding" from the main page without adding the harness and my agent almost bought a key (cute)
