Hey Product Hunt! I'm Maximiliano, the creator of Harly 👋 Harly started with something I kept noticing rather than a problem I was living through myself. Most free ATS plans cap you at one or two job posts, and the moment you need more, the "serious" tools jump straight to $300 to $500 a month, built for teams ten times the size of the ones actually looking for help. There was no middle ground. Access to a decent hiring tool felt like it needed democratizing, not gatekeeping behind enterprise sales calls. On top of that, most of these tools treat compliance as an afterthought or an upsell, even though GDPR and similar regulations should be table stakes for anything handling candidate data. So I started building the ATS I thought should exist. Harly is open source, MIT licensed, GDPR ready, and free to self-host, forever. You get the full product with no seat limits and no feature paywalls: a visual hiring pipeline, public job boards, candidate profiles, interviews and scorecards, a candidate portal, security and GDPR tooling, and a public API. Your hiring data stays on infrastructure you control, and since it's open source, you can read the code, change it, or fork it outright. What started as a scoped project for a university admissions program kept growing. Two months in, almost 300 commits and 130 database migrations later, the biggest lesson has been that consistency beats motivation. Some days I only shipped a small fix, but showing up daily is what got this to a launchable state. Today I'm launching Harly's first public beta. It is not finished, and I don't want to pretend it is. There will be rough edges, missing integrations, and things that need to improve. That's exactly why I'm releasing it now, I want to build the rest with real feedback from people who might actually use it. If you work in recruiting, run a small team, enjoy self-hosting, or just want to poke around the code, I would genuinely love to hear what you think. What feels useful? What's missing? What would stop you from using Harly? Thanks for checking it out.

Harly was hunted by Maximiliano. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
