Hey everyone 👋
hAPPcc is a HACCP compliance app (APPCC in Spain) for bars and restaurants — the daily food-safety records every EU kitchen is legally required to keep: temperatures, cleaning, deliveries, traceability. Almost all of them still run on paper.
The interesting constraint wasn't the domain, it was the environment. Kitchens have terrible connectivity, and the person logging a fridge temperature has thirty seconds and wet hands. That shaped the whole architecture: offline-first on Android, local database as the source of truth during a shift, sync on reconnect, and PDF/XLSX export so records leave the app in a form an inspector will accept.
Honest limitations: Android + browser, no native iOS, and it's built around EU regulation, so it's regionally narrow by design.
For the devs here — if you've shipped offline-first mobile, how did you land on your conflict-resolution strategy? That's the decision I spent the longest on.
