I'm the solo developer behind Hanzi Garden. I built this app out of sheer frustration with mainstream language apps that rely on childish gamification streaks and passive vocabulary drills.
When learning Mandarin, I realized that knowing isolated words doesn't mean you can hold a conversation. You have to understand how ideas actually form. Hanzi Garden fixes this by focusing entirely on active sentence construction and radical structures so you can actually start thinking in the language.
The app is fully independent, ad-free, and built natively in SwiftUI for a lightweight, focused experience.
