I'm Hannah, the creator of Handwritten Signature Designer.
This project started with a pretty random realization: like most people, I never actually chose my signature. I just scribbled something down when I was younger, and somehow that's the signature I've been using ever since. It made me wonder why something I'll probably use for the next 50 years was never really a conscious choice.
So I started looking for one of those signature generators. Canva, and a couple other generators popped up.
Every single one I found did the same thing: type your name, pick a script font, and download it. It never felt like a real handwritten signature, but just my name in a font that could just as easily be found in Microsoft Word. It didn't even look like a signature.
That frustration eventually turned into this project.
Handwritten Signature Designer creates a personalized collection of 152 realistic handwritten signatures based on your personality and style. Every collection also includes matching monograms and a guided practice sheet, so you don't just download a signature, you actually learn it until it feels natural.
The practice sheets ended up becoming my favorite part of the whole project. A signature isn't something you copy once; it's something you practice until it becomes second nature.
With this tool, we want to help teenagers to discover their signature, without just scribbling something.
