I use claude code heavily and kept wanting to keep going when I'm away from the keyboard (walking the dog, cooking or driving). The mobile clients I tried either don't support handsfree voice or lock it behind a subscription, so I made my own.
It runs against CC on your own machine. You start a little bridge with on your laptop that drives CC through the Agent SDK, your phone connects to it over Tailscale, and you just talk and it reads the replies back. Tool permission prompts get pushed to your phone so you can approve or deny by voice. Multi-session, resume, live status, that kind of thing. Works with codex too.
It's completely free!
Finally something that actually works while my hands are messy in the kitchen. Permission prompts hitting my phone instead of yelling across the house is genuinely clever.
