Hands is an iPhone app for designing your own analog clock widgets. Change the face, numerals, track, hands, labels and colors with a live preview, then put the clock on your Home Screen.
Hi, I'm Christian, the developer who made Hands.
Hands is an app that lets you design your own clock widgets. You can adjust the face, numerals, track, hands, colors and more. Theres a ton of different options.
Some things that might be interesting:
- I drew all the typefaces myself, including the app font. (Feedback about any rough edges is welcome!)
- The color editor uses OKLCH, so moving changes to lightness, hue and saturation shouldn’t affect each other, and should feel pretty natural. It can also build palettes and harmonies, or pick colors from a photo.
- You can send a clock to someone as a link, and they can add it to their own library.
It's iPhone only for now. I'd love to know what you think, and see any clocks you make with it.
Cheers!

Who hunted Hands?
Hands was hunted by Christian Sheehan. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
