Like many of you, I deal with sensitive documents daily—contracts, financial reports, scans. The online tools we use (like ILovePDF or Smallpdf) require us to upload these private files to their cloud servers. Even if they promise deletion, it’s still a huge privacy risk.
That inspired me to build HandleMyFile.
By utilizing modern WebAssembly (WASM), we brought the entire processing engine directly to the browser. Whether you are merging PDFs, extracting images, or running OCR, the files stay 100% inside your local browser memory.
