A quiet nudge every 30 minutes, on Mac and iPhone. One tap to score your last half hour: value or waste. By evening, you see exactly where your day went. No timers, no forms, no mental load.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
It's 11 pm. What did you actually do today?
That question used to ruin my evenings. I was busy from morning to night, yet I couldn't say what the day gave back. Emails, meetings, scrolling, two or three real wins. It all blurred together.
Time trackers didn't help. Starting a timer for everything is a job in itself, and I always forgot.
So I built Halff around one idea: your day is 48 half hours. Nothing to start, nothing to stop.
How it works:
• Every 30 minutes, a quiet nudge on your Mac or iPhone
• One tap: value or waste, with your own categories
• By evening, your whole day sits in front of you. Blue paid off, red stole your time
My favorite part is the dial: your day as a ring of 48 segments. One glance and you know if today was yours, or if it slipped through your fingers.
Lose six half hours a day and that's 3 hours. 21 hours a week. Over 1,000 hours a year. Halff makes them visible, and what you see, you can change.
Launch price for the Product Hunt community, locked in for good once you're in. I'll be here all day, honest feedback welcome, especially the harsh kind.

The quick score idea is genuinely smart, would love a weekly summary view so I can spot patterns across days instead of only seeing today. Maybe something like a simple bar chart showing value vs waste per day for the past week right in the app.
By the end of the day I actually saw where my hours disappeared, mostly doomscrolling I had convinced myself was research. The single tap keeps it frictionless enough that I never skipped one.

Halff was hunted by Ugo Di Sario. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
