Hey PH! I'm Ryan, the maker of HabitForge.
I built this because I was frustrated with two extremes in habit tracking:
Over-opinionated apps that tell you exactly what habits to track, what time to wake up, and how to structure your day. I don't need an app to have opinions about my life - I just need it to make showing up feel rewarding.
Over-gamified apps that pile on so much RPG complexity (parties, guilds, avatar health, damage, pets) that managing the game becomes a second chore. The gamification should serve the habits, not the other way around.
The inspiration clicked when I was watching Solo Leveling. Sung Jin-Woo gets a System that gives him daily quests, XP, and levels. That simple loop is what makes him unstoppable. I thought: what if a habit tracker worked exactly like that? No complexity. Just quests, XP, and leveling. You define what matters, the app makes it feel like progress.
That's HabitForge. You create any habit, it becomes a quest. Complete it, earn XP, level up. The dopamine hit is real and it's attached to something that actually improves your life.
Would love your feedback. What features would make this more useful for you?
