Habit2Goal turns your daily habits into points that fund real-world rewards you set for yourself. A habit tracker with a goal economy — not just streaks.
The app is inspired by a motivational system from the "Atomic Habits" book. It's based on the idea that you save money for things you want to buy, by, for example, skipping an unhealthy snack. I thought it could be taken further, and basically, we can assign value to any habit, and make that an extra motivation to do those habits, or get rid of some (you can either add or subtract the assigned value).
I have been using it for over half a year already myself, and it helps me not to buy things compulsively, as I tell myself I need to earn them. And by doing that, I develop more and more habits! I thought it was worth sharing with others, so I managed to publish it, and now I wait for some feedback.
How exactly do the points convert into real rewards — like is there a fixed rate, and can I actually cash out or is it more of an in-app thing? Curious if this works with any existing habit apps I already use.
