BUILT AROUND YOU
Onboarding learns your name, motivations, focus areas, and experience level, then shapes Habitix around how you actually live. The goal isn’t perfection theater. It’s proof that you showed up.
Oh, to me, the UI design is a bit pushy. Too many black and blue dots seem a bit like a wall that’s hard to break through… same about black columns. Looks solid yeah, but not how I wish a “gentle reminder” would look like.
Streaks are the mechanic everyone ships and the one that turns on you hardest. They work right up until you break one, and then the number that was motivating you becomes a reason to quit entirely.
Is there anything that softens that? A grace day, or a streak that dents rather than resets. I've been on an 18-day streak on a completely unrelated platform and I've noticed the anxiety has quietly overtaken the motivation — I'm not doing it because it's useful anymore, I'm doing it because I don't want to see the number go to zero. Curious whether you see that as the feature working or the feature failing.
Honestly love that the streak grids are the focal point instead of buried under stats and charts. Makes it feel like a physical habit tracker you'd pin on a wall, which is kind of the whole point.
