I started building this after getting frustrated with workout apps that require sign-ups just to log a squat. GymBuddy is my answer to that — a fully offline tracker that lives in one HTML file.
No backend, no database, no accounts. Your data stays on your device. You can even save the file locally and use it without internet.
Would love to hear feedback from anyone who lifts — especially around the exercise library and rest timer. Happy to add features based on what the community actually needs.
How does the backup actually work if everything lives in a single local file, like do I manually export it or is there some kind of auto sync I'm missing?
Love that it's just a single HTML file I can stash on my phone. The rest timer is straightforward and the ability to add custom exercises sold me on it.
