Hi, I'm Zhichao, the maker of GuitarTool. I wanted the few minutes before practice to feel simpler: tune the instrument, set the beat, find the exact chord shape, and start playing.
The app works offline. Tuner audio is analyzed on-device and is never saved or uploaded. Teachers and students can share the exact chord shape as a normal image; the recipient does not need the app.

The browser tuner asks for microphone permission and processes audio locally. These browser tools let you try the basics; they do not include every native app feature.
