Hey Product Hunt :)
I’m Abhinav, the creator of Guitariz Studio.
I built this tool because I noticed that high-quality chord transcribers and audio stem splitters are almost always locked behind expensive paywalls, mobile app installs, or subscription models. I wanted to build a 100% free, open-source, web-based alternative that musicians can use instantly without even needing an account.
Everything runs statelessly (we don’t store your audio files), and we offer:
AI Chord Recognition (from local MP3/WAV files etc)
Audio Stem Separation (to isolate vocals, instruments, bass, etc.)
Interactive Scale & Mode Explorers (featuring Western modes & Indian Ragas)
Circle of Fifths & Guitar Tuner and many more....
I'd love to hear your feedback, thoughts on the UI, and suggestions for new tools you'd like to see added next!
@n_eslem68217@melihlidiphxjQuick update! 🎉 Thanks to your feedback, MIDI Export is now live on Guitariz Studio! You can export your detected chord progressions as standard .mid files right into your DAW. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
This looks like a great starting point for anyone learning music theory in the browser. One thing I'd love to see is the ability to export detected chords as a chord chart or MIDI file so I can drop them into my DAW or share with bandmates. Would make the AI recognition way more useful beyond just analysis.
A midi export option for the detected chords would be amazing so I can drop them straight into my DAW and start building around them right away.
Adding a MIDI export option for the detected chords would be huge - it would let users drop the progression straight into their DAW or notation software to build out full arrangements without manually entering each chord.
The stateless vocal separation is a really thoughtful design choice, cuts out a lot of friction compared to other tools that force you to upload and wait. Love that it's all running in the browser too.
