Hey everyone, Freinet here. I co-founded Guidara and built the product.
My co-founder, who's a licensed mental health therapist and clinical supervisor, brought the problem to me, which is that clinical supervision is stuck in the past. Supervisors are tracking hours in spreadsheets, emailing PDFs for signatures, and writing notes in EHRs that were designed for client therapy, not supervision. When a supervisee finally applies for licensure, compiling the documentation is a mess.
Guidara gives both sides of the supervision relationship one shared platform. Supervisors manage meetings, notes, hours, forms, agreements, and invoicing. Supervisees submit timesheets, sign documents, and track their progress. Everything is documented with a full audit trail, and records stay accessible for years.
We're live, we have paying customers, and the supervisors who actually use it during the trial convert at a near-100% rate. The problem is real and the solution works. Now we need to get it in front of more supervisors who are tired of the old way of doing clinical supervision.
