Hey PH! I built GuardPad because I got curious about one thing: do the biggest sites on the internet actually use the security headers that every guide recommends? Turns out, 35% of the top 100 don't. Amazon scores 0. LastPass scores 0. PyPI, a volunteer-run project, scores 97. The full report is at https://olofpetterson.github.io/... GuardPad started as a tool for myself, now it's on the App Store. Happy to answer any questions about the data or the app.

Who hunted GuardPad?

GuardPad was hunted by Olof Petterson. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
