Top comment

I was trying to figure out why my peppers and tomatoes were stunted with yellowing leaves well after transplant. I took a photo and asked an AI what was going on — then started photographing fertilizers and products I already had in the shed so it could recommend a treatment plan without me buying anything new. That's when it clicked: this works so much better when the AI has context. What if your plants' full history lived in one place — every log, photo, and note — so the advice was actually tailored to your situation? I also couldn't find a good way to manage reminders across a tiered garden and potted plants at the same time. GrowKeep solves both. It's in TestFlight now and I'd love feedback from anyone growing anything.

Comment highlights

The history-aware AI is a really smart angle since most plant apps treat every question like it is the first one. One thing I would love to see is a quick "light level check" built into the photo flow, like a tap to log if the spot is bright, medium, or low. It would make the reminders and care advice way more accurate without much extra work.

Who hunted GrowKeep?

GrowKeep was hunted by Casey Figurski. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
