Hello! I am so excited to have launched Grocery Genie. This app was launched out of my own frustrations with the grocery shopping process. I love to cook recipes that I find on the internet, but the process felt so time consuming that half the time I would give up and order takeout. I am creating this post to collect feedback so I can continue to improve the tool. I would really appreciate your thoughts, concerns, criticisms, etc. It all helps me build a better product! There are a few pain points that I believe Grocery Genie solves:
1. Instantly creating a grocery list from any recipe website. No scrolling, no pop-ups, no manually writing down ingredients line-by-line.
2. Combining ingredients across multiple recipes
3. Placing delivery or pickup orders in seconds
4. Saving recipes and cooking instructions to be referenced later
5. Getting these tools for FREE! I've noticed that many apps charge for this functionality. I believe this is a convenience tool that you shouldn't have to pay for.
Really cool idea, something that can be a cool add on - what if you can make a tool for tiktok and then find and shop the recipes from videos?
