GridPick is a browser extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox that turns any table on a web page into something you can use. Click the toolbar icon, pick a table, and copy it into Excel or save it as CSV, XLSX, JSON or Markdown. It reads div-based grids from React and similar frameworks, not just real markup. It expands merged cells into a proper grid, and warns you when a table is only half loaded instead of quietly handing you 50 rows out of 2,000. The free version has no row limit.
Hi everyone, I built this because every time I needed a table off a web page I ended up doing the same annoying dance: select, copy, paste into Excel, watch the columns land in the wrong place, fix it by hand.
The tools that already exist mostly work, but the popular ones cap the free version at a few hundred rows, and that cap lands exactly when the table is big enough to be worth exporting. So the one rule I set for GridPick is that the free version never limits rows. Ten rows or fifty thousand, same result.
Two things I spent most of the time on:
Modern web apps rarely use real markup any more. A lot of what looks like a table is div elements with ARIA roles. GridPick reads those too, which is why it finds grids other extensions miss.
Merged cells. A rowspan in a header quietly shifts every column below it one place to the left, and you usually do not notice until the numbers are already in your spreadsheet. GridPick expands them into a proper grid and lets you choose whether a merged value repeats down its rows or leaves blanks.
Pro is a one-time payment, not a subscription, and it adds Excel, JSON and Markdown export plus number cleaning. Everything runs locally either way, so nothing you export ever leaves your browser.
