GrantSmart
The all-in-one AI solution for managing your EU projects.
GrantSmart.ai automates timesheets, tasks, budgets and reporting for EU-funded projects — so your team spends less time on admin and more time on the actual work. Upload your Grant Agreement and get an audit-ready workspace in minutes.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
For the last ten years I've worked on EU funded projects, as a researcher and as a project partner. In every single one, the same thing kept happening. A real, recurring drain of unproductive time on admin every month, and it got a lot worse whenever a European Commission reporting deadline was getting close.
Timesheets prepared by someone else. Budget monitoring handled by someone else. Constant inconsistencies between different groups, causing a lot of frustration and eating up time and energy that should have gone into the actual project.
I don't think that's on the people doing the work. It's on the tools they were given, or the ones that never existed.
So I built GrantSmart. It's an AI powered workspace built around how EU projects actually get structured and reported, not a generic project tracker with EU terms bolted on top.
You upload your Grant Agreement, project proposal and financials, and it turns into a live workspace. Work packages, tasks, budgets and person months get extracted and linked automatically. Audit ready, every month.
A few things it changes day to day:
→ Reporting to the Commission becomes an export, not a scramble
→ Timesheets, tasks, budgets and documents live in one place
→ The manual data entry and cross checking gets automated, your team just reviews
→ No need for external auditors, everything is timestamped and traceable from day one
We're in public beta now and I'd genuinely love your feedback, good or bad. Happy to answer anything in the comments 🙏
