Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Theo chen, technical co-founder of GrainBook
After 8 months of development and 3 months of public beta, our first product is finally
live.
GrainBook — an AI-powered content aggregator for the way knowledge workers actually
consume information.
🎯 The problem we wanted to solve
Most of us subscribe to far more content than we can ever consume. YouTube channels,
podcasts, Substack newsletters, Reddit threads, RSS feeds, university courses. The unread
backlog turns into anxiety, not a resource.
🛠️ What GrainBook does
It pulls all your subscriptions — YouTube, podcasts, Reddit, RSS, Twitter/X, Bilibili,
Echo360 lectures — into one AI-summarized feed. Skim a 30-second take on a 60-minute
episode, then dive in only when something deserves your attention.
A few things we spent the most time on:
• Multi-source aggregation in one place — stop juggling apps
• A source-aware reader for each format (transcripts, chapters, embedded threads), with a
beautiful liquid-glass effect on iOS 26
• Chat with your library: ask "what did I read about RAG last week?" — semantic search
across your personal content, with cited sources you can tap to open
• Bring your own LLM: any OpenAI-compatible API (DeepSeek, Qwen, Claude, local), keys
stay on-device
• Read-state tracking and a personal consumption dashboard
🙏 To everyone who joined the beta — thank you. Your feedback shaped this version.
Now available on the App Store (international).

Who hunted GrainBook?
GrainBook was hunted by TheoChen. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
