Grabo is a free 3D mockup video maker for apps, 100% client-side. Animate camera and device with keyframes, add text, lights and backgrounds, then export as MP4 or WebM at full resolution. Export renders frame-by-frame and encodes with WebCodecs right in the browser, with no server, no account and no watermark. Built solo with vanilla JS, Three.js and GSAP after getting tired of mockup tools that watermark, cap resolution, or require a subscription.
Hey! I'm Mateo, a CS student building small dev tools on the side. I built Grabo because I needed 3D mockup videos for my own app demos, and every tool I tried either watermarked exports, capped resolution, or needed a subscription just to download once.
Grabo runs 100% client-side, Three.js for the 3D scene, GSAP for keyframe animation. Export renders frame-by-frame and encodes with WebCodecs directly in the browser, falling back to WebM where WebCodecs isn't supported. No upload, no account, no watermark.
Would love feedback on what's missing, especially from anyone who's had to make App Store / Play Store promo videos before.
