Sprinta runs villa retreats during race week for amateur endurance athletes. Marathons, Hyrox and IM are booming and social. Yet a race trip usually means basic, overpriced hotels and crowded restaurants, doing it all yourself, and nobody to share it with. Sprinta turns ordinary race trips into extraordinary retreats: a curated villa, a crew that handles everything, and a community of 10 athletes. Each retreat includes a coach, physio, chef, race logistics, transfers + a film of the whole stay.
Myself and my cofounder Gianluca are athletes. I am a former national-level swimmer; Gianluca runs. We both know what it means to train for months for one goal, giving up time, energy and weekends to be ready on that day.
And we asked ourselves: why should all that preparation come down to a few hours of racing and a number on a stopwatch?
That is where Sprinta comes from.
We create experiences for ambitious amateur athletes: we rent a villa near the start line of a big race, we select a community of runners and athletes who share the same ambition, and we live the whole race week together.
Training, meals, recovery, time together, the race and the final celebration.
Because a race should not be only something you run. It should be something you live at its best.
Our goal is to bring people together through sport and help ambitious amateur athletes give their best on race day.
