Google Whisk just leveled up!

Whisk 1.0 was all about remixing visuals — you could drag in images for subject, scene, and style, and Whisk (powered by Gemini + Imagen 3) would generate a fresh image by capturing the essence, not an exact replica.

Now with Whisk 2.0, Google is taking it a step further. Whisk Animate, where your images come to life as vivid 8-second videos using the powerful Veo 2 model.

It’s all part of Google’s growing creative AI suite for Google One AI Premium subscribers.

From remixing images ➝ to animating them.

From static creativity ➝ to motion storytelling.

From Imagen 3 ➝ to Veo 2.

This evolution is wild.

That's a cool product for content creators in general. As a tech content creator, I personally find solutions to convert prompts to professional visuals like diagrams, flowcharts,... I'm hoping such solutions.
Anyway, congratulations on your launch and good luck on your journey!

Can you use an image as a style reference or only create from scratch based on text?

Hi! Looks great! But why it doesn't available in Portugal? When I check out your website, I see a message "Whisk is not available in your country yet".

Congrats on the launch! 🎉 Google Whisk 2.0 is pure magic—it doesn’t just animate photos, it lets us direct the vibe (8 seconds is all you need to spotlight that epic sunset or your dog’s derpy smile 😂). Such a smart way to breathe new life into memories while keeping it intentional. Obsessed! But sadly it is not available in my country yet. Looking forward to your expansion!

Where about is it available? Seems like a great tooo and ive tried to give it a try but cant access.

Hey Rohan. Have you had a chance to try it out? [In my country, it is disabled.] 🥲
