Hey Product Hunt 👋 Remember what it was like to use Universal Analytics? Real-time reporting was actually real-time, useful reports were one click away, and conversion tracking was easy. Then in typical Google fashion, they replaced it with GA4 and ruined a good thing 👎 Suddenly data showed up a day or two late, the reports we relied on vanished, and the privacy concerns never went away. So like a lot of people, we went looking for alternatives. There were plenty of privacy-focused ones by then, but they all felt a little too basic. And although the single page dashboards were clean, we still couldn't measure how our site was performing the way we used to. Which got us asking: what if you could respect visitor privacy and still properly measure your website? That's GoodMetrics. Real-time data with no delays, reports you already know how to read, and cookieless tracking so you don't need to stick a cookie banner on your site. One big thing has changed since we started building, though: AI showed up. So we added a hosted MCP server. Connect GoodMetrics to Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP-compatible assistant once, with no API key and nothing to install, and you can go past the dashboard entirely. The questions that used to take a few reports and some filtering are now just questions: "Which referrers drove visitors who actually signed up, not just traffic?" "Find pages where traffic grew but conversions dropped last quarter." "Of my US mobile visitors, which landing pages convert best?"
