GOATvs
Who's the GOAT? Pick one of two, see how the world splits
GOATvs ranks the greatest of all time with one question: which of these two? Vote in 10 categories (people, football, songs, movies, series, games, books, inventions, places, beauty) and see the world's split on every pair. Every Top 100 is built from everyone's head-to-head picks. Play Today's Challenge (guess what the world picked, one wrong answer ends it), vote in the daily Face-off, or make a room and play with friends on your own phones. Free, no app, no ads.
Hi Product Hunt! We're the small indie team behind GOATvs.
Every GOAT debate ends the same way: "that's just your opinion." We wanted to see everyone's opinion instead, so we built a site that asks one question over and over: which of these two?
Pick one and you instantly see how the world splits on that pair. Every pick is a head-to-head vote, and the Top 100s in 10 categories, from footballers and movies to songs and inventions, are built from those votes with a Bradley-Terry model (the math behind chess ratings). Each voter's weight is capped, so no single person can push a name up a list.
What to try first:
1. Vote 20 duels in the category you argue about most.
2. Today's Face-off: Super Mario Bros. vs Sonic the Hedgehog. One vote each, live split until midnight UTC.
3. Today's Challenge: guess which one the world picked. The first wrong answer ends the game. A quick sign-in (no password) puts you on the daily leaderboard.
4. Friends around? Make a room. Everyone plays the same 10 duels on their own phone, then you see who agrees with whom.
Free, no app to install, no ads, no tracking cookies.
Which Top 100 looks wrong to you, and which pair should we add? We'd love to hear it.

Who hunted GOATvs?
GOATvs was hunted by berat oguz. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
