I built Gmail Button Inserter because something as simple as adding a clickable CTA button to an email in Gmail shouldn't require copying and pasting HTML or relying on complicated workarounds.
Gmail has a lot of useful features, but adding a proper call-to-action button isn't one of them. Whether you're sending sales emails, newsletters, business proposals, or customer updates, a well-designed button can make your email more effective.
So I built a simple Chrome extension that lets you create and insert customizable buttons directly into Gmail's compose window.
You can customize the button text, URL, colors, shape, and padding, then insert it into your email in just a few clicks.
We've been running this extension for a while, and now we're bringing it to Product Hunt to reach more people who might find it useful.
I'd love your feedback!
