Glyphus turns a single 1024×1024 icon into a complete, Xcode-ready icon set — every iOS, iPad, macOS, and watchOS size, Android mipmaps, and the Play Store 512 — in one zip. No account, no API key, nothing stored. Deterministic sizing (no AI guessing pixels), plus an MCP server and CLI so your coding agent can generate icons directly.

Top comment

Hey PH 👋 I built Glyphus because resizing one app icon into 30+ files, every release, for every platform, got old fast. Drop a 1024 square in, get a zip with every required size out — Contents.json already written, Android mipmaps already sorted. A few things I care about that shaped it: No AI in the resize path. Every output size comes from an explicit size table in code, not a model. Deterministic in, deterministic out. No account needed. One request, one zip, nothing stored server-side. Built for agents too. The same API backs an MCP server and a CLI, so Claude Code / Cursor / a script can call generate_icon directly instead of going through the browser. Currently building a native macOS app for App Store screenshot generation as the next piece — waitlist is open on the site if that's useful to you. Would love feedback, especially from anyone who ships to both App Store and Play Store regularly. https://glyphus.dev

Who hunted Glyphus?

Glyphus was hunted by Samandar Rajabboyev. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
