I built Gly Log because I have diabetes myself.
After my diagnosis I tried a lot of apps, and kept running into the same three walls. Most of them wanted me to pair a specific device — if you don't own that exact meter, you're stuck before you start. Every time I ate something, I had to leave the app and search whether it was okay for me. And weight, which matters so much in diabetes management, was either missing or living in yet another app.
So I built the app I wanted to use:
• Enter readings from any meter — no pairing, no setup
• Search 100,000+ foods and see a glycemic impact grade (low/medium/high) right there
• Log weight next to glucose, not in a separate app
• Export any period as a PDF for your next doctor visit
• Free, and you can start as a guest without creating an account
It's in English, Korean, and Japanese, on both iOS and Android.
I'm a solo maker and this is still early. If you're living with diabetes — or helping someone who is — I'd genuinely love to hear what your current app doesn't do for you. That's what I'll build next.
