The response here seems fantastic. I'm curious, what are the main marketing strategies you're focusing on to get the word out to more startup and product teams?

Really like this vision. I think chat that unites humans, tools, and AI around goals instead of chatter feels like the next evolution of teamwork.

I’m most curious about two things: how you prevent extra chat noise, and how clean the handoff is from thread to action. If you can show real examples or simple metrics on that, it’ll stand out.

Love the “context-aware AI across threads” idea. If it really understands and follows discussions, it could replace half of our internal chat clutter.

Congrats @evanowen on the launch! I'm curious to know – which LLM do you use most inside Glue? Since you can toggle between them, do you find certain LLMs are better for certain tasks?

Glue has come so far since the initial launch last year. Incredible that you have such an extensive MCP directory.

I’m curious, though, why not integrate agentic capabilities directly within Slack? It’s certainly feasible; I experimented with something similar a while back, and it could significantly reduce the switching cost for existing Slack/Teams users.

Also, are you considering bringing some of Glue’s modules to Slack for existing teams in the future? The agentic layer can be especially powerful for teams juggling multiple SaaS tools.

That being said, Glue's UI looks fantastic and seamless. Kudos to the team! All the best :)

What has been the biggest hurdle in getting the product to a point where you felt it was ready for a more public launch/announcement?

Over the past year, I've had the opportunity to work with this incredible team to build something we're all really proud of! We use our product everyday, so the team is incredibly engaged in creating a fantastic user experience.

Incorporating AI and MCP right into our team chat has streamlined so many of the processes that have historically been cumbersome as an engineer. Glue AI can take a conversation with my team, turn it into a Linear issue, and assign it without ever leaving the thread - no more jumping back and forth between apps to transfer info, Glue does it for you! On top of that, the threaded conversation model makes it so much easier to reduce noice and be involved only where I need to be.
