I built Glowtris while serving mandatory military service in South Korea. I'm a designer by trade β not a game developer β so a lot of this was figuring things out as I went.
The part I'm most proud of is the Daily Challenge system. Every player worldwide gets the exact same block sequence each day, generated from a date-based seed. Building that in a way that's timezone-fair and cheat-resistant took longer than the game engine itself.
The part that humbled me most: I switched to PixiJS for better performance, shipped it to production, and it broke Safari for every iOS user. Spent a week rolling back to Canvas2D. Good reminder to test before deploying.
Still on active duty, so updates are slow. But the game is live, stable, and free.
Would love feedback, especially on mobile. Known issue: the Blitz mode leaderboard is brand new and still settling.
