GlassCSV is a Mac-native CSV editor that helps you avoid spreadsheet surprises like lost leading zeros, unwanted date conversions, and broken encodings. Open large CSVs fast, then search, filter, edit, compare files, remove duplicates, and copy data as JSON, Markdown, or SQL.
Hey Product Hunt!
I built GlassCSV because CSV files are still everywhere, but opening them in a spreadsheet can silently change the data.
GlassCSV is a Mac-native CSV editor for viewing, searching, filtering, editing, and cleaning CSV files without unwanted auto-conversions.
It preserves values like “001” exactly as text, supports common encodings and delimiters, opens large files quickly,
and includes tools like visual diff, duplicate cleanup, regex search, and copy/export as JSON, Markdown, or SQL.
It’s free to download on the Mac App Store, with a one-time Pro upgrade.
I’d love feedback from people who handle CSVs in operations, data cleanup, localization, QA, or developer workflows.
