Hi Product Hunt 👋 Glasp cofounder here! 🚀 Today, we’re launching the Glasp: Curated Content to Crafted Posts 🙌 🕰️ Story behind Glasp 10 years ago, Kazuki, the co-founder of Glasp, was diagnosed with a subdural hematoma that suddenly paralyzed the left side of his body, and his doctor told him that he could go into cardiopulmonary arrest at any moment. He managed to survive through emergency surgery, but when he was confronted with the reality that he might disappear from this world, he remembers feeling an inexpressible sense of fear and frustration welling up from the bottom of his body. At the same time, he was struck by the desire to prove that he existed in this world that his life had meaning, and the urge to leave something useful behind for the world while he was still alive to feel a sense of contribution to humanity. 📚What is Glasp? Glasp is a social web highlighter that people can use to highlight and organize quotes and thoughts from the web without switching back and forth between screens and accessing other like-minded people’s learning simultaneously. Our mission is to democratize access to other people’s learning and experiences that they have collected throughout their lives as a utilitarian legacy. As Glasp stands for "Greatest Legacy Accumulated as Shared Proof", we want to visualize your contribution to human knowledge history. Besides the Glasp: Curated Content to Crafted Posts, you can do: ✅ Sync all your highlights and notes from Kindle eBooks: 📚 ✅ Get daily highlight reviews for free! ✅ Highlight text & image on the web: 🔴 🟡 🟢 🔵 ✅ Highlight and summarize YouTube videos, web pages, and PDF files! ✅ Highlight & annotate PDF files ✍️ ✅ Discover more useful content from other curators: 🤝 ... and many more! We’re excited for the Product Hunt community to check it out and would love to get any feedback to improve Glasp! 🧭 What's Coming Up Next: - Comment on highlights and posts to interact with like-minded people - Better personalization of content discovery & like-minded people search - Improved UX = UI updates + bug fix Let's highlight the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful together! Happy learning, Kei

I include both user reviews and use cases. I believe a balanced approach gives a comprehensive view of what’s out there.
My posts are mostly use cases. They show the practical applications and benefits, which I find more engaging.
I usually stick to user reviews because they provide genuine insights. Use cases are interesting but don’t always capture user experiences.
Really impressed with the new features! I can see this being a huge help for content creators who juggle multiple projects. Just curious about how does it handle more complex formatting?
The ability to transform highlights into full articles directly is fantastic for my workflow. One question is, does this support integration with other writing platforms like Medium?
I mostly share use cases and success stories to help others see the practical side of things. Sometimes, I post user reviews to give a fuller picture.
Kudos to the team! I’m always gathering notes and highlights but struggle to turn them into something polished. This update really samoothly the process from research to a finished post.
Well, looks like my days of copy-pasting notes are over! This feature just made my writing process a whole lot easier. Now I just need to figure out what to do with all the time I’ll be saving!
Congrats on the launch, @kei_watanabe! 🚀 The new Post feature sounds like a game changer for content creators. Excited to see how it enhances the writing process! PH community, let's give it the upvote it deserves!
Excited to see Glasp's new Post feature! The journey behind this tool is truly inspiring, @kei_watanabe. It’s great to see how the platform not only streamlines content creation but also honors the legacy of learning. I'm particularly keen on the syncing features with Kindle and video highlights. Can’t wait to test this out and see how it enhances my writing process!
Cool idea but isn't turning highlights into full articles just copying, what about copyright concerns, and how easy is it to actually use, like any plan to simplify UX even more 👀
Congratulations on the launch, Kei! 🎉 The new Post feature is a fantastic addition. I'm really excited about how Glasp can streamline the writing process and help us share insights more effectively. Can't wait to explore how it transforms my research into crafted content. Wishing you all the best on this journey! Upvoting for sure!
Congrats on the launch! You’ve put so much heart into this project. I’m sure it’ll be a huge success, and I can’t wait to use it! @kei_watanabe
This new feature is interesting, but isn't it just another way to repurpose content, I wonder if it’s really adding anything new, the health background story feels kinda forced, sure that’s inspirational but does it add to the product itself, curious to hear what others think
So excited to see Glasp launch this new feature! The ability to turn curated highlights into full articles will definitely streamline the writing process for many of us. 📝 Kazuki's story is truly inspiring and adds so much depth to the mission behind Glasp. It's amazing how the platform not only helps in managing insights but also fosters a community of like-minded learners. Can't wait to see the personalization features and better UX updates roll out! This is a big step for content creators. Keeping my eye on this one and definitely upvoting! 🚀
This launch of Glasp is truly exciting! The ability to seamlessly transform curated highlights into full articles is a game-changer for content creators. I appreciate the mission to democratize access to knowledge and the personal story behind its inception is truly inspiring. One suggestion I have is to ensure robust privacy measures for users who might be concerned about sharing their highlights. Additionally, it would be great to see more collaborative features in the future, allowing users to co-create and share insights more dynamically. Looking forward to seeing how Glasp evolves!
This is an intriguing launch, @kei_watanabe! How does Glasp handle privacy when it comes to sharing highlights? Also, what’s the potential for collaboration among users with the new Post feature?
This sounds intriguing! Kazuki's story is truly inspiring and the mission behind Glasp resonates well with many of us in the knowledge-sharing community. I'm curious, how does the content personalization work exactly? Will users have control over what they see in their feed? Looking forward to exploring this more on PH!
