Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Giovambattista. My GitHub profile README used to show three stats cards served by outside services. I wanted one of my own, laid out like the repository view of FinderGit (my Git-aware file browser for macOS) and dressed in its Profile Card's looks, with nothing to host and nobody else's server to wait on. GlanceCard is what came out of it. 1. A dashboard for every repository 📊 Name a repository and its README gets the whole picture, redrawn every morning: status and latest tag, 30 days of commits with a 26-week sparkline, twelve tiles, a year of commits drawn as a chart, with streaks, the week's rhythm by day and hour, languages and essentials, the latest commits and releases, and who contributed. 2. And one for you 👤 The profile card: followers, stars, pull requests, issues and commits, a year of contributions drawn as a chart (or as GitHub's grid, if you'd rather have the squares), your most starred repositories and their languages. 3. Nine looks 🎨 Three classics, four from out of this world, and two that come out only in their season. Halloween is on right now 🎃 and Christmas comes back in December; the rest of the year they turn into Midnight on their own, and nobody touches the workflow. 4. Nothing in between 🔒 A GitHub Action in your own repository draws the cards and commits them as plain SVG files. No server, no third-party service, no dependencies, and no secret to add: it runs on the token GitHub Actions already gives every run. Private repositories are refused unless you ask. 5. Set it up in one paste 🤖 Pick your looks on the website and it writes the workflow, and a prompt for Claude Code, Codex or any coding agent with the GitHub CLI: the agent adds the workflow and Dependabot, runs it once, and shows you every diff before it pushes. Or write the step yourself: ```yaml - uses: gfazioli/glancecard@v0.3.0 with: profile: your-login repos: your-login/your-repo theme: both calendar: chart ``` You can see it working on my own profile and in the READMEs of more than sixty of my repositories, octoscope's included, most of them in their Halloween look this month. Free and MIT-licensed, and on the GitHub Marketplace. Which look would you put on your profile? And what's missing from the cards that you'd want to see at a glance? 👀 Website: https://gfazioli.github.io/glanc... GitHub: https://github.com/gfazioli/glan...
