Givgive is a local sharing app where you can borrow, lend, sell, or give everyday items. Digitize your belongings, access nearby services, and exchange safely via Givgive Hubs. Save money, reduce waste, and build a stronger community — all in one smart app
Why we built Givgive? Because borrowing a drill from your neighbor should be easier than buying a new one.
We believe in a world where generosity beats ownership — and local connections matter.
Givgive is not just an app. It's a movement.
Join us, city by city.
Givgive makes local sharing effortless borrow, lend, sell, or give everyday items through a smart, safe app. Digitize your stuff, access nearby services, and exchange via Givgive Hubs. Save money, reduce waste, and strengthen your community in one move.
Congratulations on the launch! what a brilliant and practical idea! My main question would be about the logistics – how would you handle that?
Congrats on the launch 🎉 Givgive is a great idea to save money and build community!
This is awesome, @crazystartuper ✨ Though if I borrow my neighbor’s drill, does that mean I also borrow a little peace and quiet? 😂
Just checked out the website Michael, wishing you and Givgive all the success, I hope this is in every neighborhood soon.
This should be used by more people worldwide. [BTW, Is there any "insurance"/guarantee that the borrowed item will be returned in the same good condition? And that it will be returned at all?]
Hey PH friends
I’m Mikhail, a founder on a mission to make sharing easier than owning.
Givgive was born out of a simple idea:
What if your neighbor already has what you're about to buy?
With Givgive, we’re building a hyperlocal sharing network — city by city —
where people can lend, borrow, and give everyday items instead of buying more.
After burning out on my last startup, I wrote a book — Crazy Startuper.
A story of mission, mistakes, and finding faith again.
Now I’m back, building again.
One drill, one neighbor, one act of generosity at a time.
