I built Give & Take because I was tired of expense-splitting apps that either did too little or buried useful features behind confusing paywalls. I wanted one place to split expenses and track loans (money or items) with friends — without the clutter.
Along the way, tracking loans became a core feature, not an afterthought. I also focused hard on the notification flow: when you add someone new, they’re notified automatically, so nobody’s left wondering about their money.
The free tier is genuinely useful (20 transactions, split up to 3 people), with a Pro tier (€1.99/month) for receipt scanning and voice commands.
