Hey founders & builders 👋🏻

Big milestone for GitLaw today. We’ve completely redesigned GitLaw around our new AI agent - a faster, smarter way to draft and review contracts.

GitLaw was previously best known for our open library of free, trusted templates.

Now, the agent uses that library to draft documents for you.

What’s new?

📝 Draft contracts in seconds using trusted industry templates (NDA, MSA, SaaS, etc.)

🔍 Review and redline instantly with a revision history of what has changed

🤖 See how the agent thinks - like most vibe coding tools show

🧩 A new agent-first UX

Would love your feedback - especially from anyone who’s ever had to wait days for a contract edit that felt very straightforward.

Congrats with a launch @nickholzherr @byalexai 🚀
Pumped to try it out - curious how it works for the Canadian market.

Impressive update, Nick ! The agent-first design and transparent reasoning are game changers. Curious how GitLaw ensures accuracy when adapting templates across different jurisdictions?

Which languages do you support? Can it generate a template for me in Ukrainian? Will it take Ukrainian legislation into account?

Love the AI approach to democratizing legal document review! As a UI/UX designer who's worked with 200+ products over 11+ years, I'm curious: how did you design the review interface to balance AI-generated suggestions with user understanding of legal implications? That tension between automation and user confidence in legal decisions is always fascinating. Congrats on the launch!

I had been toying with this idea for a while for documents in general but the key concerns from myself and my customers primarily in Europe are 1) How do you tackle privacy and hallucinations? Since these are confidential documents themselves why would a Business use your app? 2) The final agreement should still be reviewed by a Lawyer how will the end user know if all clauses are included or not?

That's a great idea. I have another question: What about liability? If I hire a professional lawyer, are they also liable for the text?

Congratulation on your launch! Does GitLaw/GitLaw Agent provide support in cases where I want to translate/convert the original law docs to my proficient language, or vice versa crafting the docs in my language and exporting in another language with similar format?

This is so cool. I remember seeing the template library before, and pivoting to an AI agent that uses them as a foundation is genius. It feels like it would be so much more accurate. One thing I always worry about with legal stuff is location—if I need a contract for my business in Texas, does the agent know to handle that differently than one for a friend in New York?

Now getting legal advice on fingertips! Kudos! Eager to see details about the legalities and confidentiality of info shared with the agent.

Tried the AI chat and I must say, solid UX and impressive prompt interpretation. The multi-user collaboration workflow is a clear win for in-house teams. 👏

The next critical step will be deep integrations. True enterprise adoption depends on an API for end-to-end audit trails, specifically for connecting with existing CLM platforms. How is that on the roadmap?

Really want to try it out! Is this globally available, or is it limited to certain regions?

Congratulations on the launch. Useful tools like this deserve early support

It is not anything better to had a hunter who studied law – good choice for this product ;)

The legal field is one of the most traditional industries out there. Businesses often need the same types of documents again and again (NDAs, contracts, MSAs) yet lawyers’ time is very expensive. That’s why AI tools like GitLaw can be a HUGE addition.

They save time, reduce cost, and make legal work more accessible. It’s still early days for AI in law, but the progress is already impressive.
