Hello Product Hunt community! 👋
I’m the creator of Easy-LocalAI, and I’m incredibly excited to share this project with you today!
As an open-source enthusiast, I’ve been amazed by the power of LocalAI (developed by @mudler and his team). It’s an incredible engine that lets you run LLMs, vision, and voice models locally on any hardware. However, I noticed that setting it up via Docker or CLI was a massive entry barrier for many people—especially those who just want to experiment with AI privately on their Windows machines.
That’s why I built Easy-LocalAI. It’s an unofficial, open-source Windows launcher that brings a clean graphical interface to the core engine.
Key features:
🚀 One-Click Launch: Start or stop your local AI server with a single button.
⚙️ No-Code Configs: Manage your backend settings without editing raw YAML files.
📋 Live Logs: Monitor your engine's status directly inside the application window.
🔒 100% Private: Your data never leaves your computer.
The project is fully open-source and free. I would absolutely love to get your feedback! What models are you planning to run? What features should I add to the GUI next?
Thank you so much for your support!

Who hunted GitHub?
GitHub was hunted by Daniel. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
