Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Sijin, maker of git-tork — a keyboard-first Git client that lives entirely in your terminal. Why I built this: I kept bouncing between heavy GUI Git clients and raw git commands. GUIs felt like overkill for staging a few files and committing; the CLI meant remembering flags and losing the visual picture of my repo. I wanted something in between — fast, visual, and zero-friction. What it does: - 🌳 Colorized, scrollable commit graph across all branches - ± Stage/unstage and view diffs with single keystrokes (s, u, Enter) - ✍️ Commit and amend without leaving the keyboard - 🔀 Checkout and create branches from a sidebar - 🖱️ Full mouse support too — click panes and rows when you feel like it The best part: no install needed. Just run: npx git-tork It's open source (MIT) — repo: github.com/sijintv/git-tork I'd love your feedback — especially what workflows you'd want next (interactive rebase? stash management? hunk-level staging?). I'll be here all day answering questions. 🙏
