I built Gifsy because I kept seeing beautiful photos on websites that felt completely flat. I wanted a stupidly simple way to give a normal image some depth without asking people to learn 3D or deal with heavy 3D tools.
The idea started as a small experiment with depth maps and parallax, then turned into a tool where you just upload a photo, Gifsy creates the 3D effect in your browser, and you get an embed you can drop anywhere.
Still early, but I’d love to see what you guys create with it. Would genuinely love feedback on where this could be useful beyond the use cases I’ve thought of.
