Gettin THR combines the best aspects of public transport apps and combines them into one with a few extras. So we have the routers and the timetables, but we also have budgeting your fares and visual displays of routes. Currently just in New South Wales and Victoria, Australia but looking at further cities if i get a decent userbase.
Basically, I was wondering why no app had a commute fare saving feature, and to be very honest, I was bored at work and looking for something to fill the time.
It went through a few iterations, it was going to have public transport and driving, but the data fo driving is huge and therefore very expensive to deploy as an app. Plus, if you narrow it down, you could be better at what you're doing.
So yeah, we will see how it goes.
