I built this because the fractional market has a trust problem, not a supply problem.
There are thousands of people calling themselves fractional CFOs. What a founder cannot tell from a profile is which of them has actually held the seat. So every operator here is checked by hand against their LinkedIn and a CV before they appear, and nobody can pay to be listed, to rank higher, or to be on a shortlist. That is the whole product.
The rest follows from one decision: we take no share of what an operator earns. That is why the day rates are published on the site rather than quoted on a call, and why the operator answers the phone when a company calls, because we are not sitting in the middle of their engagement taking a percentage of it.
Companies who would rather not sift the bench can ask us to run the search. That costs nothing to start and charges a percentage only if they appoint somebody we introduce.
