I’m Karthik, an indie iOS dev and German learner. I built German Chunks because I was tired of learning long word lists and then freezing in real conversations. What actually helped me was collecting the real phrases people use and revisiting them until they felt natural.
German Chunks is my attempt to turn that “chunks, not words” approach into a small, focused app:
you learn ready‑to‑use phrases and patterns,
sessions stay short enough for real life,
the UI stays out of the way so you can focus on language.
