Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Fred, and I built GeoDay.
I love daily puzzles but wanted one that actually teaches you something about the world. So rather than one guess, you get a progressive hint ladder: outline → zoom out with neighbours → continent/population/area → flag → capital → letter pattern. You can also take a hint without guessing. Each step costs points, max score 36, and there's a Give up button so nobody gets stuck.
No account, no ads. It works in English and Swedish. Map data is from Natural Earth.

🔓 …and unlocks the next hint: neighbours → continent, population & area → flag → capital → letter pattern
Everyone gets the same 6 countries each day. Fewer hints = more points (max 36). There's a streak, stats, a spoiler-free share grid and a practice mode by continent. And a Give up button, so nobody gets stuck.
It's free, with no ads and no account. Your stats stay in your own browser. English and Swedish. Map data from Natural Earth, capitals/area/flags from mledoze/countries.
