GeoConvert converts geodata files (KML, KMZ, GPX, GeoJSON, CSV, zipped Shapefile) between formats and coordinate systems entirely in your browser. No file is ever uploaded: parsing and conversion run client-side, so zero bytes of file content reach a server. Reprojection covers WGS84, SWEREF99 TM, all 12 SWEREF99 local zones, and RT90 2.5 gon V, systems most general-purpose converters barely support. Free, no signup, no account needed.
I built GeoConvert after running into the same problem repeatedly: reprojecting Swedish geodata between SWEREF99, RT90, and WGS84 without uploading the file to a third-party server. Most converters online either don't support Swedish coordinate systems at all, or they route your file through a backend you don't control, which is a nonstarter when the data is confidential.
So I built a converter that does everything in the browser. No upload, no account, no server-side processing of file content. It started as a tool for my own work with municipal and survey data and grew into something that covers most common geodata formats and Swedish coordinate systems.
