On money, so nobody has to guess: everything in the app today is free, with no ads and nothing gated, and it stays that way. We do plan a paid version later, but it would be built out of features that don't exist yet — not a wall put up around what you're installing today. It isn't open source, and I'd rather say that plainly than be vague about it; the manifest and the network behaviour are both fair game to check.
I'd genuinely like feedback on the study loop — highlight, review, repeat — and on what's missing for the way you study. I'm here all day.
