Earlier this week, the fastest LLM (Groq®) burst [back] onto the scene, and now Google is open sourcing the underlying model for Gemini & Gemini Advanced. Sundar definitely lit a fire under some people's asses at Google — in a good way. Anyone give these models a try yet?

Build quality is an aspect where this product absolutely shines. It feels solid in hand without being overly weighty, and the attention to detail in its construction is apparent. From the tactile buttons to the smooth surface finish, every aspect has been designed with care.

Congrats for the launch And What's the minimum configuration needed to get it up and running with at least an 80 out of 100 score if I may ask?

I haven't tried them yet, but I'm definitely intrigued. Have you had a chance to test them out? Looking forward to hearing more about people's experiences with Gemma!

Google has really gone gloves off in recent months. I keep wondering if they are releasing because they really want to (did the technology roadmap simply align for multiple companies at a time) or because companies like OpenAI have pushed them to (and now they feel a need to show, that they are indeed developing the cutting edge). Nonetheless, companies like Google and OpenAI keep blowing my mind. I do not know if I can handle more innovation on this front, I'm already pinching myself every time I use ChatGPT or Gemini 😅
