Gearlog
Track your car's full service history, mods & repairs
Most people have no idea what was done to their car before they bought it and no way to prove what they've done when it's time to sell. Gearlog fixes that. Log every oil change, repair, mod, and fuel fill-up. Set mileage reminders so you never miss a service. Decode any VIN instantly. Check live NHTSA recalls. Export a full PDF history report when you sell. Built solo. No account required. Your data stays on your device. Free to download. Android coming in 1 month π―.
I'm Naim, the solo dev behind Gearlog. Built this over the past several months while juggling a full-time job and my computer science curriculum.
The idea came from a real problem π€ - I was tracking my GTI's service history across Apple Notes and Google Notes for years. Oil changes, repairs, mods, all scattered. When I went to sell a car I had no clean history to show the buyer, especially for DIY work.
So I built Gearlog. Every service record, repair, and mod - logged with date, mileage, cost, and photos. VIN decode on add. PDF export when you sell. Mileage reminders so you never miss an oil change.
One of my favorite features: you can photograph your mechanic's invoice or dealership receipt and Gearlog will parse the text right into the log. No manual typing.
It's free to download. Pro unlocks PDF export, mods log, unlimited vehicles, and reminders.
