Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm the solo founder behind **Gauntly**, and I'm excited (and a little nervous!) to finally share what I've been building. 🚀
**Here's why I started Gauntly.**
AI has made building software more accessible than ever. With tools like Lovable, Cursor, Bolt, and Claude Code, almost anyone with an idea can start building an application.
But I kept coming back to one question:
**We're making it easier to build software. But who's making sure that what we build actually works?**
As someone building software myself, I realized how easy it is to overlook broken interactions, confusing user experiences, and technical issues that might only become obvious after real people start using an application.
And for solo founders and indie developers, having a dedicated QA team isn't always realistic.
That's what inspired me to create Gauntly.
Gauntly helps builders test their websites, discover issues, understand findings in plain English, and get actionable fix prompts they can bring back to their favorite AI coding tools.
I've also been working toward a bigger vision: a development companion that doesn't just find broken buttons, but helps builders understand their applications more deeply, evaluate user experiences, and make better technical decisions.
**Today, Gauntly is available in free beta.** 🐈⬛⚡
It's still early, and there's a lot I want to improve. I'm not claiming we've solved software quality overnight. I'm building this because I believe AI should help us not only create software, but also test, understand, and improve it.
I'd genuinely appreciate feedback from this community, especially on three things:
